Situated in beautiful Lancashire countryside Downham Village Hall offers quality facilities for a wide range of events – from Wedding Receptions, parties, anniversary celebrations and children’s activities to art exhibitions, corporate presentations and smaller meetings. It is also a very popular base for groups exploring the area’s wonderful walking, cycling and wildlife.
With a big Main Hall and stage accommodating 100 seated, modern catering kitchen, a smaller room accommodating up to 35 and good access and parking, Downham Village Hall has very flexible options for the hirer. Wi-fi, presentation equipment including a large screen and a hearing loop as well as tables, chairs and kitchen equipment are all available for events.
In addition, the Committee and other village groups organise regular meetings and events, as well as theatrical performances from Stage 2. There are themed nights, quizzes and an annual Bonfire night. You will find information on forthcoming events in our newsletter and highlighted on the website home page.

For extended usage, special discounts may apply - it is possible to hire the whole Hall for a weekend for as little as £1,500. Please discuss with the secretary when booking.
